Cementex BLK-C4 Class 4 – 36 kV Blanket Kit 3′ x 3′ Orange EPDM Blanket, Pair of Blanket Clamp Pins and Canister

Superior quality dielectric blankets are designed, manufactured and tested in the United States in strict accordance to current ASTM D1048 specifications.

Class 0 and Class 4 blankets are both Type II; made of ozone-resistant EPDM synthetic rubber. The Class 0 blanket is yellow without eyelets and the Class 4 blanket is orange with 6 eyelets.

Care and Inspection of Rubber Blankets

As with other live line tools and safety products, proper care, inspection, and storage of Rubber Blankets is essential. Before each use, it is imperative to visually inspect your rubber blankets. When inspecting, be sure to look for rips, tears, holes, punctures, embedded wire, ozone cutting, and chemical deterioration. Should any of these be evident, remove the blanket from service.
